California, Los angeles, 90001 Los angeles USASome experience in professional bread baking is necessary. Requires weekend work. You will be responsible for mixing, shaping and baking breads. You will be trained to make the breads and fillings to our standards, but you must have some prior professional experience. Hours to begin with would be Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 330am-1130a/12noon
This could turn into a full time position once you have been successfully trained.
Requirements include:
Knowledge of doughs, mixers and ovens (nothing here is automated)
Experience in shaping dough by hand
Laminating doughs by hand
Rolling doughs and pastries by hand
Strong attention to detail
Ability to multi-task
Ability to read and follow recipes exactly
Cleanliness
Promptness and dependability
Valid CA food handler’s card
Able to work long hours standing up.
Flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
