Trejo's Tacos - Food Runner/Expeditor

Job Description:

Food Runner/Expo duties primarily focus on ensuring the guests have a positive experience as soon as they enter our restaurant and help run food by following seat numbers. Ensuring the food is prepped correctly, made to spec and comes out within approved ticket time requirements.

Responsibilities Include:

- Ensure the efficient flow of orders from the kitchen team to the FOH

- Ensure orders are being prepared with the correct priority

- Assist in the final preparation of dishes - properly garnishing food items

- Check dishes before delivery for accuracy, presentation and temperature

- Run food to the tables using the pivot point system to ensure we are not auctioning off food

- Helping buss tables and reset tables for guests to be able to sit down within an efficient time

- Helping guests with any questions or needs they may have
