Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Part-Time Barista with basic prep cook skills. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee beverages, crafting delicious sandwiches, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities: Demonstrate a proficiency in coffee service and prepare variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, and more, adhering to quality standards and recipes. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when needed. Operate coffee brewing equipment and maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area. Prepare ingredients for sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to established recipes and guidelines. Assemble sandwiches and basic prep food items with attention to presentation and quality. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the food preparation and serving areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and following food safety procedures. Provide friendly and attentive customer service, addressing customer inquiries and ensuring a positive experience for every guest. Opening and setup space for the day Requirements: Prior experience working as a barista and/or sandwich prep cook preferred. Wine knowledge is a plus. Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso beverage preparation. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and safety standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Strong multitasking abilities and a willingness to learn and adapt. Availability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
