Sandwich maker / prep

Busy cafe located in Los Feliz now seeking a hardworking, skilled sandwich maker. We specialize in baked goods, sandwiches as well as coffee and espresso drinks. We are a very unique, dynamic establishment. This position is expected to be scheduled between 4 and 5 days a week (or between 30 and 40 hours). Weekend availability is a must.

You must be:

Outgoing and personable, with the ability to communicate clearly and often.

Able to multitask in a very busy and small work space.

Able to adapt to different needs for each day.

Available weekends and afternoons.

Willing to go the extra mile.

Must have California food handlers card.

Skills required:

Proficient knife skills

Able to read and follow recipes

Attention to detail

Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions

Sense of urgency

Able to work cleanly

Able to lift 50 pounds

In addition you will be required to perform the following duties:

Provide outstanding service to customers and fellow co-workers.

Prepare ingredients for station

Make sandwiches accurately to order

Washing dishes, emptying trashes and general cleaning.

Help prep for other stations on occasion.

Other duties assigned.
