We are looking for Full-time or part-timebakers to work in a fast-paced commercial kitchen, at our Altadena Location.Compensation is $20 per hour. 3x-5x days available with8 hours per shift.Job Description: Properly execute baking & café recipes. Be able to display pastries in window, properly labeled and display within the Amara aesthetic. Know how to organize your time to complete the prep/bake work for the day; communicate with the kitchen, keep back prep area & fridges organized, clean; floors, shelves, food bins and fridges. Properly label & store food, receive and store orders, communicate 86 food items to team and managementPlease be able to meet these requirements before applying:2 years of experience as abaker, with knowledge of gluten-free and dietary specificbaking a plusWeekend availability mandatory.Available for AM and shifts(6:30am-2:30pm)Must have a CA food handler certificateAn interest in organic, health-conscious foods and specialty diets is a plus!Amara Kitchen has two locations, one in Highland Park and one in Altadena.
