Bartender (Sunday days a must)

The Blue Moon Lounge in Glendale, Ca is looking for a solid bartender to work on his/her own (with little or no help).

Must be able to work Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. DAYS or NIGHTS other days are flexible, but Sundays is a make it or break it deal.

This is a cocktail bar, I am not looking for a food server or a waitress. You will be making drinks please be experienced. YOU NEED TO KNOW YOUR COCKTAILS! NO beginners as this will be a fast paced job.

BARTENDER JOB SUMMARY

The bartender is responsible for maintaining the bar area and filling drink orders for restaurant and bar patrons. This position must have extensive knowledge of liquor mixed drinks, beer, and wine.

Thinking quickly, awareness of surroundings and monitoring patrons for signs that they have had too much alcohol are also skills required to do this position well.

Providing top-notch customer service while maintaining control of the bar, serving drinks and managing the financials require attention to detail and extreme focus.

Make sure everyone has drinks and stay off your phone.

At the end of each shift, the bartender will cash-out the cash drawer, making sure it balances with the POS system and note any discrepancies. DO NOT BE SHORT!

Need you to be that Socialable person, enjoy your job, smile and have fun. Customer retention is a must.

BARTENDER REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma

2+ years’ experience working as a bartender

Must be able to lift 20-pound boxes, lift kegs and stand for an 8-hour shift

Strong customer service, great memory, and interpersonal skills required
