McCall's Meat and Fish Co. is seeking a skilled and passionate individual to join our team in Los Feliz as the head of sandwiches and sliced meats at our gourmet market and butcher shop on Hillhurst Avenue.

You will play a key role in creating exceptional culinary experiences for our customers through sandwich-making and expertly sliced meats and cheeses.

You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of sandwich preparation and meat slicing while ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

1. Sandwich Creation and Menu Development: Design and develop an innovative sandwich menu that reflects our gourmet market's brand and caters to diverse customer preferences; Create unique and delicious sandwich combinations using a variety of high-quality ingredients, including our freshly sliced meats and artisanal products; Continuously explore new trends, ingredients, and culinary techniques to enhance our sandwich offerings and maintain a competitive edge.

2. Meat Slicing and Preparation: Coordinate the slicing and preparation of various meats, ensuring precision, consistency, and adherence to food safety standards; Monitor inventory levels, anticipate demand, and maintain appropriate stock of sliced meats to meet customer needs while minimizing waste

3. Customer Service and Engagement: Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, offering recommendations, and accommodating specific dietary preferences or special requests; Excellent attention to detail, ensuring consistent quality and presentation of sandwiches and sliced meats; Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to engage with customers and provide personalized recommendations.
