Clinical Lab Scientist, Sr. Supervisor, Molecular Diagnostics

ResponsibilitiesThe Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is seeking to hire a Senior CLS Supervisor to lead and supervise operational activities of the Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory. Primary duties include:Supervise and coordinate daily technical activities of the lab, including all pre-analytical and post-analytical processesSupervise and lead a team of laboratory staff (approximately 15-20 direct reports/FTEs)Develop and implement recommendations for change, ensuring that services meet the needs of all customersCreate a collaborative working environment and culture of continuous improvementSalary range: $115600.00-$155900.00 AnnualQualificationsCurrent California Clinical Lab Scientist or Clinical Genetic Molecular Biologist Scientist licenseAt least two years' experience supervising in a clinical laboratoryManagement skills such as planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating the work of othersAbility to troubleshoot issues that arise outside of normal working hours, including weekends and holidaysUCLA is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
