Retail Shipping Sales Associate/Customer Service

We are an independent shipping store offering various services. We are looking for a responsible, reliable, and flexible individual (PREFERABLY A STUDENT) to join our growing team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Retail Shipping Sales Associate, you will constantly communicate with walk-in customers. This role consists of providing outstanding customer service and solutions to our customers.

Activities will include shipment processing, packing, printing, fax services, notary, inventory management, sorting mail, fingerprinting services, and U-Haul rental services.

Must be able to pick up and move 50+ pound boxes.

This position requires the candidate to pass a background check and a minimum of 20-25 hours/week

Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment daily.

Presenting a clean and professional image in person and on the phone.

Work effectively with other team members and management.

Communicating effectively with management and customers.

Handling cash, check, and credit card transactions in a computerized POS system quickly and accurately.

QUALIFICATIONS

Customer Service, Sales, or Retail Experience

Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Able to lift 50+ pounds and stand for long periods of time

Able to cross-sell and up-sell products and services

Strong computer skills

Fluent Spanish speaking is a must

Notary Public (Current Commission) is a plus but not required for the first 90 days

Must pass a background check

Valid CA Driver's License
