Description We are seeking a Finance Manager based in Irvine, California. This role is pivotal to our team, focusing on the analysis and forecasting of our financial health. You will be in charge of preparing financial reports, addressing financial queries from cross-functional teams and managing our capital. This role offers an exciting opportunity in the industry.Responsibilities: Analyze and interpret financial data to provide profitability insights and identify opportunities for growth Prepare and consolidate monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and strategic plans in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams Monitor and optimize working capital, including inventory, and provide sell-through recommendations Collaborate with the Cost Accounting team to understand the impacts of standard costs and manufacturing variances Evaluate proposed advertising and promotional spend using ROI analytics to inform decision-making Work with Product and Demand Planning teams to establish product pricing based on various factors such as market conditions, brand strength, and cost inputs Regularly monitor cash position and accurately forecast cash flow Oversee the analysis and recommendation process for capital expenditures for new business and replacement capital Develop forecasts, prepare financials, calculate project return metrics, and analyze changes vs. previous updates Identify gaps and lead improvement projects in partnership with key stakeholders Provide analytical rigor and thought leadership to support profitable growth strategies. Requirements Proven experience in financial management and accounting functions Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems Familiarity with 3M, CRM, and EPM systems Proficiency in using Adaptive Insights software Experience in managing annual budget and budget processes Knowledge in managing business unit and capital management Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Excellent communication and leadership skills High degree of professionalism and ethical standards Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required Master's degree in Finance, MBA or equivalent is preferred Relevant certifications like CFA, CPA, etc. are highly desirable.
