Description:seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. This role involves analyzing data tracked in different formats across multiple spreadsheets, identifying patterns, discrepancies, and trends, and translating insights into actionable responses to taskers. Your work will help guide decision-making across multiple organizations collaborating closely with leadership and various departments. They will champion data-driven decision-making across the organization by designing and deploying timely analytics, defining key performance indicators, and implementing robust business intelligence solutions. Through their expertise in tools like SQL and Power BI, and their passion for visualization and reporting, the BI Analyst ensures that our business strategies are informed, measured, and refined based on accurate and interpretable data insights.The BI analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to provide valuable insights and support strategic decision-making. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams, design data models, develop reports and dashboards, and deliver data-driven recommendations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in SQL, knowledge of the modern data stack (dbt, Snowflake, git, Fivetran, and more) and business intelligence tools, as well as the ability to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders. They will play a crucial role in driving business growth and improving operational efficiency through data analysis.Skills:Business analysis, Requirements gathering, Business requirementsAdditional Skills & Qualifications: Provide analytical support through the analysis and interpretation of data in support of cross-functional business operations. Analyze actual results against plan and forecast and recommend interventions where appropriate. Develop, prepare, and analyze reports for management review, and to present at various levels of management. Provide performance monitoring, maintain KPI dashboards, and make recommendations to increase operational efficiency where appropriate. Work independently on complex projects/assignments with minimal oversight. Other duties as assigned. Develop and maintain custom scripts and tools for monitoring and gathering data on operational team activities. Automate tracking of performance metrics and generate insightful reports for analysis by decision makers. Design and maintain dashboards displaying key performance indicators (KPIs) across programs. Provide real-time and historical insights into productivity, efficiency, and performance of various programs. Regularly update dashboards based on management feedback and business needs. Support the on-site team is trained in understanding, response, and application of reported statistical operational performance data. Monitor operational performance and recommend improvements where needed.Skill Required Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent experience. OR 2-5+ years’ experience and some post-high school training in a computer science related field Proficiency in VBA, Power BI, Microsoft Excel Strong proficiency in Power BI for dashboard development, report generation, and data visualization Proficiency in scripting languages like SQL, Python JavaScript or similar to automate tasks and processes. Experience creating custom tools for monitoring and data collection.
