POSITION SUMMARY: As a Supply Chain Analyst for Fluid Systems Division located in Irvine, CA, you will be a pivotal member of our supply chain team, driving the assessment and redesign of local and back-office processes, including demand planning, scheduling, procurement, and manufacturing, in collaboration with corporate IT. Your exceptional communication skills will enable you to effectively present technical information to diverse audiences and influence peers and executives to embrace strategic initiatives that enhance implementation efficiencies. You will analyze, plan, and design strategic systems and processes aligned with our Parker Win strategy, while building robust reporting and analytics frameworks. Engaging with site supply chain managers, you will proactively address changing business needs, manage change projects to successful completion, and identify additional improvement opportunities. As a subject matter expert in MRP, you will also lead division-wide data requests related to inventory and supply chain KPIs, ensuring our operations are optimized for success. Responsibilities · Play a key role in the supply chain team assessment and redesign of local and back-office processes such as demand planning, scheduling, procurement, manufacturing, and warehousing, in cooperation with the corporate IT function. · Plays a key role in the analysis, planning, and design of the strategic systems and processes necessary to achieve Parker Win strategy objectives, global dashboards, and reporting tools. · Build supply chain processes, reporting, analytics, and systems in the Parker supply chain organization. · Actively engage and communicate with all site supply chain managers and key leaders, so that they can pro-actively respond to changing business requirements and environments, managing the change projects to successful completion in this environment on time and budget. · Identifies improvement opportunities in supply chain and supports the development, presentation and successful adoption of the business case for projects. · Subject Matter expert in MRP. · Drive & execute division wide aerospace group data requests related to inventory & supply chain KPIs. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Business Administration or a related discipline (Supply Chain).
10 or more years of experience within operations / supply chain disciplines.
· Exceptional communication skills with ability to present and explain technical information to various audiences.
· The ability to influence peers and Executives across organizational lines to take action on any global strategic initiatives or process changes in support of implementation efficiencies.
Supply Chain best practices or Lean and supply chain re-engineering experience.
Strong working knowledge of MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
Knowledge of standard procurement compliance practices, familiarity with ERP systems.
Strong interpersonal and project management skills; demonstrated ability to work with engineers and all levels of management.
Must be detail oriented, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and persuade/influence others.
