Machine Shop Assistant/Driver - FULL-TIME

We are a manufacturing company looking to hire a Full-Time Driver/Machine Shop Assistant.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be at least 25 years of age

Valid California Driver’s License

Verifiable Clean driving record with at least 3 years driving experience

High School Diploma or equivalent

Duties and Responsibilities:

Be able to work efficiently and follow all safety guidelines

Operate a flatbed stakebed and other company vehicles (requires ‘Class C’ license only)

Operate a forklift (will train, experience preferred)

Assist in machine shop cleanliness and low end maintenance

Operates various machines as needed to include a drill press and band saw

Cut and stage raw material for machinists following a designated schedule

Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions

Ability to problem solve

Ability to work well with others

Positive teamwork

Ability to regularly lift 45 pounds and/or move (assisted) more than 100 pounds equipment

Compensation:

Hourly wage will be based on experience
