We are hiring a Manager of Towing Company/ Heavy Duty and Light Duty Tow Truck Operator:

Monthly Salary starting at 8,000.00/month, depends on experience

Job Description and Duties:

Under the supervision of a Supervisor, the Manager of Towing Company/ Heavy Duty and Light Duty Tow Truck Operator achieves the goals and objectives of the company through managing its resources. Managerial duties include but are not limited to leading the team of approximately ten employees and general towing operations, implementing standard operating procedures to ensure efficiency and productivity, meeting with the public to resolve issues, monitoring vehicle storage and inventory, overseeing security of storage lots, directing the placement and repositions of vehicles on the lots, interacting with vehicles owners, insurance companies and law enforcement officials. The Manager of Towing Company/ Heavy Duty and Light Duty Tow Truck Operator will also engage in the towing of vehicles –removal of disabled, damaged, and/or abandon vehicles, motorcycles, light, medium to heavy trucks, various types of trailers as well as other wheeled vehicles. The Manager of Towing Company/ Heavy Duty and Light Duty Tow Truck Operator will change flat tires on all makes of vehicles, add air when required, unlock vehicles, jump start vehicles with dead or low batteries. Dispense gasoline or diesel to vehicles. Must be willing to work non-traditional work schedules to accommodate the 24/7 tow operations.

Working Conditions:

This vacancy is located in Ontario, California but may include Riverside, California and towing will mostly take place within San Bernardino and Riverside Counties.

Minimum Requirements:

Prior managerial experience

Heavy duty and light duty towing experience: operators applying shall have a minimum of three (3) verifiable years of for-hire towing experience

Possession of an Unrestricted California Commercial Driver License Class "A" (Passenger and Tanker endorsements preferred)

Must submit to the CHP 234F, Tow Operator/Driver Information (criminal background check)

Must participate in a controlled substance and alcohol testing (CSAT) program. Must pass prior to being hired.

Must complete and pass Tow School Training Course(s).

Must be able to lift and carry up to Fifty (50) pounds in a narrow area of travel.

General mechanical knowledge of trucks and automobiles
