What does that mean to you and what will you need? Our drivers are responsible for the supervision and safe transportation of products from our warehouse and our 22 store locations. They ensure that company vehicles are clean and in safe working condition. A delivery driver's duties include daily transfers, will-calls, customer deliveries, and pick-ups between our warehouse and our retail locations throughout Southern California.

More specifically, delivery drivers will be:

Loading and unloading trucks daily with landscape and irrigation products and supplies for scheduled route stops as directed

Employing a strong knowledge of products and equipment.

Maintaining daily delivery logs and customer paperwork.

Operating a vehicle in accordance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations.

Making deliveries in a timely manner ensuring customer satisfaction.

Nurturing and maintaining excellent customer service.

Assisting in additional in-store functions including stocking, cleaning, and general warehouse, yard, and forklift duties.

The ideal delivery driver will be:

Committed to safety.

Competent, responsible, and knowledgeable, always representing ISS in a courteous and professional manner.

Able to safely walk, bend, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel daily.

Capable of reporting any safety concerns, major repairs, or servicing believed required to the Warehouse Manager.

At least 24 1/2 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license that meets all legal and company insurance requirements and adhere to all safe driving techniques and laws.

Able to follow directions, read a map, and be able to enter addresses accurately into a GPS to ensure the utilization of the best route possible.

Able to lift 50 lbs. or more.

Capable of working in all outdoor weather conditions.

Proficient in writing, speaking, and reading English, Spanish language skills a plus.

Experienced with forklift operations (preferred).

Industrial work boot with traction sole and leather uppers required
