Inspection & Surveying of Indistrial Ductwork

Looking for a capable person to work with our company Baghouse.com as an Engineering Technician:

1. Travel to customer sites including factories, mines, processing facilities, etc.

2. Documentation of dust collection system components and ductwork

3. Sketching/layouts of duct systems, taking measurements, photos, videos, etc.

4. Interfacing with engineering to complete CAD layouts of the surveyed systems

5. Potentially working with install teams to support and/or supervise installation projects.

Must meet the following requirements:

1. Familiarity with industrial environments and safety requirements. We will provide training, personal protective equipment, etc. but you must be able to operate comfortable and safely in a range of environments.

2. Experience laying out and/or installing industrial ductwork and industrial equipment and systems.

3. The ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision.

4. A willingness to travel 25-50% of the time to sites around the US. Most travel is 3-4 days at a time.

5. Ability to communicate clearly, make sketches/drawings, notes, to document and communicate technical data

Compensation:

1. We'll start you at $35/hr for a one month trial period, with a raise to $40/hr after one month

2. 100% remote - you will be given a laptop, tools and personal equipment

3. Compensation for all travel costs and time

4. Potential for additional benefits, responsibilities, and compensation depending on the person
