CNC Swiss Lead Setup Operator

CNC Machining & Engineering, Inc. was established in 2019. Since then, we have experienced constant growth and are looking for a self-starter, diligent, and responsible set-up/operator to run Citizens Swiss and Miyano Machines. We specialize in various types of industries from defense to commercial. We take pride in making sure our customers get the best machining products around.

1st Shift: Monday-Thursday, 7am-5:30pm (4/10 Schedule)

Required: Minimum of 3 years of experience with Citizen Swiss and Miyano

Responsibilities:

- Set up and configure Citizen Swiss machines with correct tooling, fixtures, and programming adjustments.

- Utilize Fanuc/Mitsubishi controls and make minor program edits on the machine

- Machine parts using detailed drawings and CAD models.

- Program Citizen Swiss and Miyano Lathe. Having Gibbscam software experience is a plus

- Troubleshoot basic machine problems, ensure quick turnaround, keep workplace organized

- Coordinate machine schedules to meet production timelines.

- Work with Engineering and Planning to provide job status and communicate all related information to management.

- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following company policies.

- Must be able to fully complete assignments, clean up, put tools, unused parts, and supplies away, before moving to the next assignment or leaving at the end of the shift.

Qualifications:

- Must have Citizen Swiss and Miyano experience.

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in set-up and operation of Citizen Swiss and Miyano Lathes.

- Knowledge of GD&T, press brake machines, and CAD software

- Ability to interpret complex drawings and specifications.

- Skilled in using precision measuring instruments during in-process part validation.

- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.

- Ability to demonstrate leadership skills.

- Adaptable and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

- Must be reliable, motivated, a self-starter, and able to work well collaboratively within the company.
