CNC Lathe Machinist

Waterstone Faucets, is a full line manufacturer and distributor of high quality kitchen faucets and accessories.

Waterstone Faucets is looking to expand its talented team of CNC Set Up Machinists in the Lathe departments. We are in need of experienced machinists for the set-up and operation of multi axis lathes.

CNC Lathe Set-Up Machinists

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Perform complex setups required to manufacture parts and be responsible for the production of high precision parts.

· Work from prototype sketches, complex drawings, electronic files, and verbal instructions to machine parts and assemblies by operating and performing advanced level setups of CNC machining equipment.

· Machine parts for a wide variety of materials and sizes using blue print drawings.

· Resolve tooling issues by understanding and recognizing tool wear and replacing or changing worn tools.

· Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.

· Requires regular, reliable attendance

· Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.

Education and Qualifications:

· Must have 3-5 years of experience

· High School Diploma/GED required

· Mechanical ability

· Conceptual Skills

· Active Listening Skills

· Functional and Technical Skills

· Process Improvement Skills

· Use of Critical thinking skills, logic, and reasoning to troubleshoot and solve problems

· Experience working with Brass and Stainless steel and Plastics

· Experience with live tooling and multi-axis Lathes required

· Experience with Kia, Hwacheon, Rapido, Nakamura, and Mori preferred

Physical Elements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for up to 10 hours, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distant vision. Has excellent hand to eye coordination.
