The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for managing inventory and ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse. This includes transferring inventory using JDE (JD Edwards EnterpriseOne), receiving and putting away parts, cycle counting inventory, and picking parts for production. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, basic email communication skills, and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

Transfer inventory using JDE or similar ERP system.

Receive and accurately put away incoming parts and materials.

Conduct cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and address discrepancies.

Pick and prepare parts for production according to work orders.

Communication:

Utilize basic email communication for internal coordination and external vendor interactions.

Maintain clear and concise communication with team members and supervisors.

Attention to Detail:

Ensure all inventory transactions are accurately recorded.

Verify quantities and quality of parts during receiving and picking processes.

Maintain organized and efficient warehouse layout and storage practices.

Safety and Compliance:

Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Comply with company policies and procedures regarding inventory management.

Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE) or similar ERP systems for inventory management.

Basic computer skills and familiarity with email communication tools.

Basic Excel skill

Organizational Skills:

Strong organizational abilities to manage inventory and maintain accurate records.

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Attention to Detail:

High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.

Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory counts.

Communication Skills:

Basic proficiency in written and verbal communication.

Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs

Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods.

Experience:

Previous experience in a warehouse or inventory management role is preferred but not required.

Familiarity with production processes and material handling is a plus."
