MACHINE MAINTENANCE

Looking for a qualified Maintenance Technician for Plastic Extrusion equipment. Or similar machines and equipment

Perform maintenance and repairs on plant equipment. Inspect, diagnose, and Investigate abnormal wear and other functional issues to determine the root cause(s) of equipment failure. Successful performance of this role will result in cost reductions, reduced unplanned downtime and increases in machine utilization.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

· PM on production equipment, evaluate for abnormal wear of production equipment.

· Complete repairs and adjustments in a timely manner.

· Troubleshoot Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Motors, Pumps and Drives issues and repair as necessary,

· Adhere to all company work rules.

· Adhere to all safety rules and practices.

· Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with co-workers and management.

· Use all appropriate safety equipment.

normal shift hours are from 6pm to 6am

· High school diploma or GED, 5 + years related experience.

· Must be able to read and write in English.

· Must be able to work well independently.

· Must be able to operate lift trucks.

· Good organizational and planning skills

· Strong mathematical and analytical skills are preferred

· Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred but not necessary
