Experienced Flexo Press Operator:

Running and operating of printing presses. 13" 8 color Roto Press, 7" Mark Andy 830 3 Color.

Ability to print on various materials: Thermal Transfer, Direct Thermal, Tag, Vinyl, Semi-gloss, Silver Poly, Clear.

Loading the press with paper, ink, varnish or lamination.

Mounting plates necessary for each job. Ability to hold registration when printing.

Reviewing job order to make the right adjustments to the press.

Installing parts and supplies such as anilox rollers, print cylinders, perf/cutting dies.

testing inks on the printing surface to determine suitability.

Handling production of the printed material to ensure it meets the specifications and is ready on schedule.

Performing maintenance tasks on the printing press.

Troubleshooting equipment issues

Cleaning the printing press and peripherals.

As well as the above general duties, this position requires the press operator to be able to:

Ensure high quality of printed materials.

Maintain a record of completed projects for future reference.

Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Work independently with little direction.

Observe health and safety regulations.

Stand for extended periods of time.

Bending at the waist, kneeling, or crouching to retrieve and store supplies.

Occasionally lift and /or move up to 50 pounds; lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling.
