Crime Scene Cleaning Technician - Paid Training Provided

Technician Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Position Summary

We’re seeking a Biohazard Technician to perform biohazard and trauma scene cleanups, infectious disease decontamination, hoarding cleanouts, and other specialized cleaning projects. The ideal technician candidate has experience in biohazard and hoarding cleanup, but the right candidate will be trained.

Key Responsibilities

Assess and secure biohazard sites to ensure safety and prevent cross-contamination.

Remove and properly dispose of contaminated materials in accordance with OSHA, EPA, and state regulations.

Clean, disinfect, and deodorize affected areas using hospital-grade disinfectants and specialized equipment.

Wear and maintain PPE (personal protective equipment) to minimize exposure risks.

Document all work with detailed notes, photos, and reports for compliance and insurance purposes.

Communicate with clients professionally and compassionately during sensitive situations.

Maintain equipment and participate in ongoing training in infection control and safety protocols.

Qualifications

Technician: Minimum 1 year of experience in biohazard remediation preferred but not required.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in challenging conditions (e.g., confined spaces, varied environments).

Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and communication skills.

Ability to handle traumatic situations
