$20-$24/HR CLASS C DRIVER NEEDED (RANCHO CUCAMONGA)

A company that manufactures specialty fasteners and hardware for the construction, waterworks, and commercial markets.

Job responsibilities:

- Operates a company vehicle in a safe, professional manner. Shows proficiency in handling and maneuvering trucks and equipment.

- Plans and completes an efficient delivery and pick up route for the day by using the Samsara app within the company phone.

- Load/Unload to deliver parcels to correct addresses, obtaining signatures and proof of receipt when necessary.

- Picks up parcels along the scheduled route, including items to be returned, company/client orders, and other items as requested.

- Performs mandated daily safety and maintenance checks on truck to keep track of mileage.

- Reporting any vehicle malfunctions, accidents, or traffic violations to the supervisor promptly.

- Maintaining a neat and organized vehicle interior and exterior.

- Following all state and federal transportation regulations, as well as company policies and guidelines.

- Assists in general warehouse duties when delivery route is completed.

Qualifications / Requirements:

- Good communication skills with company personnel and customer assistance

- Maintain regulatory requirements, including all state, federal and local regulations.

- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Receive, comprehend, and respond appropriately to directions.

- Follow all company policies and procedures.

- Must have a valid and current driver’s license (Class C) and clean driving record.

- Ability to drive a forklift is a plus

Pay rate: $20-24 DOE

Mon-Fri 7:30AM – 4:30PM (OT REQUIRED)
