Position: Material Handler

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4 pm

Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Location: Corona. CA

A material handler is in charge of storing, moving, and managing hazardous or non-hazardous materials. Also referred to as warehouse associates, their work includes moving stock, documenting deliveries, and monitoring supplies. They don't need formal education but do require on-the-job training.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team. The Material Handler will be responsible for the movement, control, and storage of materials in our warehouse or distribution center.

Duties:

- Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and other heavy equipment to move materials

- Perform heavy lifting of materials and products

- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage orders

- Organize and maintain inventory within the warehouse or distribution center

- Load and unload materials from trucks or containers

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

Qualifications:

- Prior experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role preferred

- Proficiency in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, cherry pickers, and other heavy equipment

- Familiarity with warehouse management systems for inventory tracking

- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks

- Knowledge of materials handling best practices

- Experience working in a warehouse or distribution center environment
