Tasting Room Server

Duties and Responsibilities:

The following tasks are to help provide a safe, clean and positive environment for all our staff, while at the same time providing a memorable experience for guests on a daily basis. These tasks can be delegated to a point as to work as a team, but the overall goal of these tasks is to keep the winery, & deli organized, clean, and safe at all times.

These responsibilities are not limited to, but to aid the overall basic duties of the daily task list.

Job description:

Know wine menu and history of winery.

Sell wine, wine clubs, merchandise and events.

Proficient or learn to be in OrderPort POS and reservations.

Possess excellent basic math skills and experience operating a cash register or POS system.

Must hold an active Riverside County Food Handlers Card or a ServSafe Certification.

Be knowledgeable of A.B.C. laws and guest compliance. Must hold an active Responsible Beverage Server certification.

Make sure customer service is first and foremost.

Greet all customers as they walk into the building, manage their reservation including trying to accommodate walk-ins.

Make sure if slow, Mid day tasks are performed. (clean bathrooms and sanitize all customer touch points are most important)

Be a HAPPY team player.

Be able to lift 50 lbs. Be able to stand for many hours.

Sanitize all tables and chairs when bussing tables after each group leaves a table or Adirondack.

Be available as a food runner if tasting bar service is fine and deli needs help.

Answer Tasting Room phone and sometimes Deli phone, taking reservations and TOGO orders.
