Tax Preparer

We’re looking for experienced tax professionals with strong communication skills and an eye for detail. Our tax preparers enjoy a client-centered, solutions-oriented community of peers with the common focus of outstanding service and professional development. Must have the ability to multitask, work in a high-volume environment, and ensure quality and compliance.

Responsibilities:

Preparing client tax returns and reviewing tax returns.

Ensure delivery of client returns in a timely manner

Mentor and educate team members

Scan documents and file tax returns

Perform research as needed to resolve client tax issues

Take client payments

Make calls to clients for appointment

Qualifications:

Experience preparing and reviewing 1040 (with all schedules) 540

Strong technology skills

Ability to work collaboratively with tech support, tax support via phone and remote on computer

2 year tax experience

Current/Active CTEC, PTIN preferred or complete our FREE online course for CTEC certification
