Position: Associate Therapist in Private Practice

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Associate Therapist working towards licensure to join our private practice located in Arcata. The role offers competitive compensation and clinical supervision to support your professional growth and development.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct comprehensive assessments to gather information about clients' mental health concerns, strengths, and treatment goals.

2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices to address clients' needs effectively.

3. Provide individual, group, and/or couples therapy utilizing various therapeutic modalities to promote positive change and emotional well-being.

4. Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure coordinated and integrated care for clients.

5. Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

6. Participate in clinical supervision and engage in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

7. Maintain a minimum caseload of 15 clients per week.

Qualifications:

1. Master's degree in Social Work or related field from an accredited program.

2. Current registration with the Board of Behavioral Science as an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW) or related field.

3. Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities.

4. Interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.

5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

6. Familiarity with electronic health record systems for documentation purposes.
