CAMP COUNSELOR WANTED (male)

Lost Coast Camp, located in Petrolia, CA, which hosts 5 sessions for children ages 5-14, is seeking an energetic, Camp Counselor to provide a safe and memorable experience for our campers. The Camp Counselor will be responsible for an assigned cabin group of 10 campers for the duration of their stay. Duties include monitoring meals, overseeing transitions to and from scheduled events and lessons, and facilitating and participating in group activities. The ideal candidate will be an excellent multitasker with a genuine passion for working with and empowering young people. Applicants should be patient, fun-loving and confident in their ability to motivate and assist campers in everything from learning new skills to working through homesickness.

Dates:

June 24-August 2 with daily time off and days off between sessions

Salary: -+$1800 DOE

Qualifications: experience with childcare, teaching or camp counseling CPR certification preferred. . Will pay 50% additional trainings

Excellent interpersonal skills. Must be able to participate in potentially strenuous physical activity.
