PT / FT Maintenance person for apartments located in Colfax, CA.

Must Haves:

General home maintenance knowledge and desire to learn more

Reliable transportation

Speak, read, and write in English

Neat appearance (some tasks will require you to enter occupied units and interact with tenants)

Honest, hard-working, and reliable

Personable and a good communicator

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

Perform repairs, modifications, and preventive maintenance tasks on and in buildings, equipment, and fixtures.

Timely unit turns between residents including painting, cleaning, and repairs

Quality, prompt, and professional response to resident service requests such as

Clearing plumbing stoppages, and replacing fixtures or fittings.

Wall repairs, countertop / cabinet repairs or replacement, finish carpentry, door/lock repair or changes, ceramic tile repair, fitting doors, freeing windows, and door jambs.

Simple appliance repair. Repair or replace light fixtures, switches outlets, or circuits

Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, emptying trash, cleaning windows, laundry, and community room maintenance and cleaning.

Maintenance of property grounds – pruning trees and shrubs, planting new trees, shrubs, and bushes. Maintain property drip irrigation to ensure no leaks, etc. Fixing or replacing property signage, etc.

Tasks may occasionally require travel to other properties in Truckee, CA, Meadow Vista, CA, and Auburn, CA

Scheduled hours Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm approx. 25 – 40 hours per week

$25 per hour to start, Review after 30 days.
