Truck Shop Foreman

Our client in the trucking business located in Fresno is seeking a diligent Shop Foreman to oversee the day-to-day operations of their company. Please call, they need someone to manage inventory, enforce safety regulations, is highly organized and has excellent communication skills. This is a Direct Hire Permanent Position working in a Family Friendly and Pet Friendly environment!

Description

-Creating and manage the staff, maintenance, and work schedules

-Oversee work to anticipate, detect, and address factors that impede operations

-Enforce safety regulations and protocols

-Conduct performance reviews with staff

-Meet with management to deliver feedback and develop work strategies to optimize workflow and operational efficiency

-Manage Inventory and enforce Safety Regulations

-Ensure that all equipment and machinery are properly operated and maintained

-Monitor inventory levels and replenish supplies as needed

-Perform administrative tasks such as updating and file equipment orders, stock receipts, staff schedules, and keep excellent records of the day-to-day operations

Requirements

-High School diploma or GED

-Valid Driver’s License

-At least one year’s experience as a shop foreman or similar

-Strong Communication and Customer Service skills

-Excellent Multi-tasking, Math, and Problem-Solving skills

-Strong Leadership and Interpersonal skills

-Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

-Great understanding of work optimization techniques

-Good knowledge of the applicable safety regulations and procedures

-Excellent ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions

-Perform general clerical work involving the use of office equipment

-Maintain files according to company policy
