HIRING: Dale Brisco Inc. is a well established (Since 1967) Job Shop Custom Fabrication Metal Manufacturing Company. We Are seeking a full-time experienced Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of bending presses to produce metal parts that meet the required specifications of each project. We currently provide laser cutting, five-axis water-jet cutting, metal bending, fabrication, rolling, welding, machining, and powder coating. A successful candidate must be able to work both in a team and individually. Applicant must have good communication skills.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

· Machine Operation: Operate the press brake to bend or shape metal according to engineering drawings, production orders, or customer specifications

· Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints

· Familiarity with precision measuring instruments

· Attention to detail and commitment to quality

· Physical stamina and ability to lift/move heavy materials.

· Problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude

· Material Preparation: Load and position metal parts onto the press brake, ensuring proper alignment and secure clamping

· Material Knowledge: familiarity with various types of sheet metal (e.g., stainless steel, aluminum, mild steel) and how each material reacts to different bending techniques

· Quality Control: Inspect finished products for accuracy, completeness, and quality, making necessary adjustments to achieve desired results

· Measurement and Documentation: Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and record production data

· Tooling Knowledge: Understanding of press brake tooling, knowledge of different tooling setups for different materials and thicknesses, including punch and die sets, radius tools, and specialty tools for different bending operations.

· Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to machine operation, tooling, or material, ensuring smooth production processes

· Machine Maintenance: Basic knowledge of press brake maintenance, including inspecting tools, lubricating parts, and performing minor repairs to ensure the longevity of the machine.

· Forklift/Crane Operation: Experience using forklifts or overhead cranes to move large sheets of metal and finished parts is often beneficial.

· Willingness to Learn New Technologies: As manufacturing technology advances, willingness to stay up-to-date with new press brake systems, CNC programming, and automation can be advantageous.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

· Familiar with various shop machinery including but not limited to grinding, laser, rolling & forming parts.

· Analytical skills

· Time Management: Ability to meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

· Teamwork: Working closely with other operators, supervisors, and fabricators to ensure smooth workflow and production.

· Adaptability: Willingness to learn new techniques, programs, and equipment, and to adapt to changing production needs.

· Familiarity with manufacturing processes and materials used in agricultural equipment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

· Must have communicable range of hearing and sight with or without the use of aids

· Requires exposure to a typical manufacturing area where area where environment is affected by outside temperatures and machining

· Ability to lift and move heavy materials (often 50+ lbs)

· Comfortable standing, bending, or kneeling for extended periods while operating the press brake

· Good hand-eye coordination for operating the press brake and handling sheet metal

· Safety: Awareness of safety procedures and proper handling of press brakes, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) like gloves, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots
