Garage Door - Service Technician

AllStar Garage Door, Inc. is a growing business in the residential / commercial overhead garage

door business. These products and services are in high demand for all private and public

business sectors from fortune 500 companies to small emerging businesses and Individual

consumers.

Due to our continued expansion and growth, we now have an opportunity for a full-time service

technician who will be responsible for diagnostic, regular service, and repair work of all

overhead door products offered by AllStar Garage Door, Inc. Successful service technicians will

provide recommendations to home owners and all customers to care for and maintain an

operational garage door and parts.

Responsibilities:

Represent and support AllStar Garage Door, Inc. in the field through product

installations, repair or replacement, according to AllStar Garage Door, Inc. schedules,

procedures, and standards.

Complete product repair and inspection of garage doors and parts as directed.

Read and understand job orders to complete jobs fully and correctly.

Provide outstanding customer service

Compensation and Benefits:

Hourly salary based on experience $20.00 to $25.00 an hour.

Work Schedule:

Full-Time shift open during business hours of 7:00AM – 5:00PM, Monday through Friday with

potential for overtime.

Requirements:

1-4 years garage door work experience.

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or Trade School

2 or more years of construction experience, ideally working on construction sites.

Experience specifically with Installation and service of overhead doors to include

sectional and rolling steel overhead doors.

Ability to problem solve and work independently

A good driving record with valid CA state driver’s license.

Required to work with tools while reaching above your head for extended periods of

time.

Required to lift up to 50 lbs.
