POSITION IS AT A MANUFACTURING IN FRESNO. This is a Temp to Hire position.
START DATE: ASAP
WORK DAYS: Monday - Friday
WORK HOURS: 8AM – 4:30PM
ALL FUNCTIONS OF ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE: posting cash receipts, remote deposit, collections, set up new customers, familiarity with credit insurance
ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE/PAYABLE CLERK Job Duties: 1) Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering and sorting documents and related information. 2) Pays invoices by verifying transaction information; scheduling and preparing disbursements; obtaining authorization of payment. 3) Obtains revenue by verifying transaction information; computing charges and refunds; identifying delinquent accounts and insufficient payments. 4) Collects revenue by reminding delinquent accounts; notifying customers of insufficient payments. 5) Maintains accounting ledgers by posting account transactions. 6) Verifies accounts by reconciling statements and transactions. 7) Resolves account discrepancies by investigating documentation; issuing payments or adjustments. 8) Maintains financial security by following internal accounting controls. 9) Maintains financial historical records by filing accounting documents. 10) Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
