Tax Preparer

As the Tax Preparer, you will be responsible for the preparation of simple and complex, individual and small business State and Federal tax returns. Calculate and invoice for form preparation fees

Communicate with clients to gather necessary information/documents

Execute other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned

Manually put together transaction tax returns utilizing various methods (Paper, E File, EDI Upload) with various government agencies

Manually enter correct data into Tax software application

Answer incoming client calls to facilitate tax questions and set appointments Requirements - Great written, verbal, and interpersonal skills

Proficient with spreadsheets and databases

AA or BS/BA in Accounting or finance preferred

Able to work independently with a minimal amount of oversight

Accurate, swift, data entry abilities

Be able to prioritize workload and perform in a fast-paced and challenging environment

Tax Preparer experience desired
