Our staffing agency is urgently seeking candidates for an Experienced HR Generalist role for a leading company in the Biotech industry located in Chula Vista, San Diego. This is a contract to hire position with a hybrid work model, but candidates must be located in San Diego to be considered. Additionally, candidates must be currently unemployed to be eligible for this role.Responsibilities:

Handle all aspects of HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.

Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, claims resolution, and communication with providers.

Manage employee data and records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.

Coordinate training and development initiatives to support employee growth and career advancement.

Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues and policies.

Assist with HR projects and initiatives as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR roles, preferably in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.

Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.

Schedule: Full-time, with flexibility for remote work as needed

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate during contract period; potential for permanent hire with comprehensive benefits package thereafter.
