This position will drive sales growth through communication and in-person interactions with current and prospective customers regarding Zimmer Biomet products. Support the sales team through surgical case coverage, training of operating room personnel and logistics of instruments and implants.How You'll Create ImpactProvide surgical case coverage support within assigned sales team to include training surgeons and hospital staff on proper servicing of devices, and ensuring that proper instruments and implants are available and ready for a case prior to its onset.Build strong relationships with key surgeons in the given area, while covering more routine orthopedic procedures with clinical proficiency and business acumen. Utilize this process to further develop strong clinical and product knowledge critical to future sales growth.Work collaboratively with area sales leader and other sales representatives to build, implement and execute a sales plan for the assigned area.Assist with planning, coordinating and executing local educational and sales events intended to augment the business and help to deliver assigned sales goals.Strictly adheres to all laws and Zimmer Biomet policies and SOPs regarding the interaction with HCP’s (Health Care Professionals), product handling and complaints, expense reporting, sales activities and training.What Makes You Stand Out

In-depth understanding of customers and their requirements.

Clinically proficient in anatomy and willing to work within a medical facility’s operating room.

Ability to become technically proficient with the designated portfolio of products.

Demonstrated ability to communicate with and influence others.

Willing and capable of carrying weights up to 50 pounds, independently.

Your BackgroundBachelor’s degree preferred. 1-2 years sales experience.Travel Expectations

Up to 95% predominantly by car, depending on territory.

Up to 20% overnight travel may be required.
