Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the heart of Camarillo, California for a Staff Accountant to be a part of our dynamic team. This role involves handling various aspects of accounting including processing journal entries, account reconciliation, and liaising with external auditors. Responsibilities: Execute detail oriented accounting duties such as auditing, analyzing, and verifying fiscal records and reports Prepare and reconcile general ledger and subsidiary accounts Ensure the accuracy of financial statements and monthly revenue and expenditure reports Handle wire transfers, journal funding transfers, and perform monthly bank statement reconciliations Oversee the calculation and preparation of reimbursement billings, track receivables, and reconcile monthly accounts receivable Serve as a liaison between the company and auditors, providing necessary audit schedules Provide assistance in the preparation of the annual and mid-year budgets Support company personnel with budget queries, proper expenditure coding, document processing and other accounting related activities Contribute to fiscal year-end and fixed asset accounting tasks Undertake any other duties of a similar nature or level as required. Requirements Proven experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Demonstrable skills in performing Bank Reconciliations Proficiency in managing and maintaining the General Ledger Experience in preparing and recording Journal Entries Capable of conducting Month End Close procedures Proficient in using NetSuite accounting software Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Willingness to continually update skills and knowledge in the field of accounting.
