Litigation Paralegal

Description An established family law practice in Beverly Hills has partnered with Robert Half Legal in their search for a litigation paralegal with 2+ years of experience.Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys.

Interface professionally with clients, lawyers, judges, and experts to ensure exceptional service.

Prepare, proo, and format legal documents, including pleadings, discovery, financial disclosures, motions, briefs, and correspondence.

Maintain organized case files, documents, and records.

Manage and calendar court deadlines, assisting in pre-trial date calculations.

Coordinate meetings, depositions, and court appearances.

Conduct legal research and gather relevant information.

Assist with court filings, including e-filing in San Mateo, Santa Clara, and San Francisco Courts.

Handle document production and discovery requests.

Aid in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and trial binders.

Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive information.

Demonstrate understanding of law firm principles and legal systems.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with attorneys, courts, and outside counsel.

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Strong analytical, drafting, and prooing skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Two or more years of experience as a civil litigation or family law paralegal, or equivalent.

Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate.
