Diesel Mechanic II

Opening available for qualified candidate to fill the position of Diesel Mechanic II at our Turlock, CA location. If you have a minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience, a valid drivers license and knowledge of the following, please apply online.

Skills and abilities:

- Diagnose and determine diesel engines and other operating defects; make appropriate repairs.

- Complete truck and trailer BIT inspections and work orders.

- Routine services

- Properly test and make extensive repairs on the following:

Engine

Transmission

Differentials

Chassis parts

Air & cooling systems; A/C

Electrical

Steering

Hydraulic system/PTO

Brakes, wheel seals, airbags, brake chambers

Lights

ABS systems

- Change tires

- Safely use hand and power tools

- Operate computerized diagnostic equipment and A/C machine

- Safely work with others.

Pay range is based on experience and skills.
