Position SummaryWhat you'll doThis position is in Bentonville, AR and is part of the incident management organization, which is comprised of the Security Operations Center, Incident Response, Hunt Team, Data Assurance, and Cyber Intelligence. This Data Assurance Team operates various shifts across the week to ensure coverage twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. The schedule for this salaried position, is from 6:00am to 6:00pm each shift, and rotates from a short week to a long week. The short week is Thursday, Friday Saturday, while the long week is Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.Applicants are expected to demonstrate an understanding of information technology and cybersecurity concepts and utilize critical thinking skills to make informed, actionable decisions.Members of this team are expected to analyze data using provided tools, evaluate the level of risk associated with the activity, and articulate the details of the identified activity to various stakeholders. Strong communication skills are necessary for this position, as a successful applicant would need to be able to communicate with various members within Information Security or other key stakeholders to answer questions, provide guidance, and escalate priority matters.About Team:At Walmart, we prioritize innovation and data security. Our focus is on mitigating attack risks, securing cloud transformation, and fostering a culture of security and reliability within our teamWhat you'll do:As a Data Assurance Analyst with Walmart, you will monitor data movement by utilizing data loss prevention (DLP) tools in accordance with internal policies. This includes analyzing alerts, finding correlating contextual datapoints, and determining the appropriate path moving forward for one of the world's largest networks. Proven analytical experience.

Can articulate technical details pertaining to cybersecurity concepts for non-technical audiences.

Cybersecurity or Information Technology related certifications.

Experience with information technology at scale

Experience working cross-functionally with other information security disciplines, i.e., incident response, security operations,cyber-intelligence.

Knowledge with at least one scripting language.

Have hands-on DLP experience.

Experience building and maintaining automated alerts and dashboards.
