Laboratory Technician

Position Purpose:Under the authority of the project manager, the laboratory technician analyzes used water samples, routine for the control of operations and clean water to ensure quality. The Lab Technician performs a variety of chemical,

biological, and physical tests required for research, development or quality control. This position compiles data for reports and assists in special studies in the laboratory and in the field.Primary Duties /Responsibilities: Prepare samples for analysis;Adequately complete laboratory documentation;Perform equipment maintenance according to established procedures;Monitor non-standard results with the coordinator;Perform various maintenance tasks in the laboratory (eg work areas);Perform any other tasks deemed compatible with its function, when required by the departmentWork Environment:  The incumbent spends most of the time in a lab environment.Work schedule: Monday to Friday
