Truck shop (working) night foreman

We are looking for an experienced shop foreman to lead our fast-paced nightshift.

You will be responsible for the following

Leading our night shift employees

Job assignments

Ensuring scheduled trucks and equipment for next day are ready to go

Mentoring entry level mechanics

Verifying repairs are completed correctly and in a timely manner/Quality control

Keeping track of parts used during shift and ensuring paperwork is completed for reorder

Maintaining a safe and clean work environment

Providing shop manager and dispatch with updates on truck/equipment status

Heavy truck repair and maintenance, knowledge of air brake systems and heavy-duty drivetrain preferred.

CDL a plus but not required

Paccar MX engine, Volvo VHD heavy truck D/13 I-shift experience a plus but not required

Welding skills a plus but not required

ASE certification a plus but not needed

Forklift Exp a plus but not needed

Bi-lingual preferred but not required
