Position Summary:

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot problems with electrical systems and equipment for local truss plant.

Duties (Not limited to)

Installs, configures, maintains, calibrates, troubleshoots, and repairs lumber saws and industrial communications.

Troubleshoots - PLCs

Provides technical input and identifies operability issues, equipment preferences, and process performance limitations that may arise throughout the maintenance of current facilities and new equipment.

Troubleshoot electrical (up to 480VAC) instrumentation, mechanical and pneumatic failure; decide and execute course of actions.

Perform preventive, predictive, and conditional maintenance on various equipment including motors, PLCs, meters, probes, breakers, controllers, etc.

Safety utilizes technical tools.

Develop and document maintenance schedules.

Plan maintenance or replacement activities.

Work in other areas as needed for production.

Necessary skills:

Ability to troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical systems using schematic diagram.

Strength in mechanical and pneumatic system.

Plc and ladder logic experience.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.

Qualifications:

Formal training and at least three years experience in an instrumentation and control related field.

Clear evidence and demonstration of experience and knowledge of listed skills.
