Machine Shop Maintenance / Saw Cut Associate

Argus Machine has a need for a self-motivated individual that will perform daily machine shop tasks such a checking coolant, wiping down machines, replacing HVAC filters, etc. In addition, provide assistance in the precision machine saw cut department.

Job Requirements:

- Fill Coolant, check coolant concentration, check/add Way Lube and document for all production machines

- Change HVAC Air Filters

- Empty Garbage Cans / Metal Recycle

- wipe down outside of machines

- Sweeping and Mopping as required

- Wash rags/towels

- Pick-up excess trash around property

- Forklift certification a plus

- In Saw Cut, receive raw materials and make copies of paperwork for accounting.

- Assure all raw materials are properly identified with traceability requirements

- Check packing slips to definition/quantities on the Purchase Order

- Pre-check all material to the traveler and print call-out prior to cutting

- Deburr and clean the cut materials, and store cut materials in inventory shelves as directed

- Operate equipment in a safe manner

- Keep area clean of residue/FOD

- This job requires high attention to detail and accuracy.

- Excellent knowledge of General Math - math test will be administered as part of interview process

- Other duties as assigned
