Cleaning team supervisor

MCG janitorial is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cleaning Team Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a crew of cleaning technicians and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of cleaning technicians to ensure efficient completion of tasks

Supervise and train new employees on company policies and procedures

Maintain a clean and organized work environment

.be responsive to clients' enquiries and specific requests, and communicate clients' cleaning requests to their teams.

Requirements

Previous experience in cleaning or maintenance preferred but not required

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong communication and leadership skills

Must possess excellent communication skills in speaking, writing, and even in listening

.Reviewing work schedules

Keeping track of inventory, ordering of cleaning materials / supplies and equipment

Monitoring of all cleaning activities

Ensuring all staff are aware of the Health and Safety policies and procedures

.Quickly resolving disputes between staff

Training new employees

Filling in / General Cleaning as needed

Communicating with management

Resolve any complaints and conflicts

Discipline and reward employees

Maintaining good relationships with customer

Conduct worksite inspections

Other duties as assigned or requested

Ideal Candidate Experience

Team player with a positive attitude and ability to maintain a positive attitude and restore morale to a team

Previous experience in a cleaning environment

Previous experience in managing a team

The ability to implement and adhere to standards and procedures

The ability to stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time

The ability to process negative feedback and remain professional

Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate

Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality

Attention to detail

High School Graduate or higher preferred

Valid driver’s license and MVR required

Time management - organizing, planning, and prioritizing

Physical Requirements

Applicants for this role must be able to:

Lift boxes and packages weighing up to 50 pounds

Lift, bend, squat, and stretch to move boxes, parcels, and shipments

Climb small to medium flights of stairs multiple times a day

Standing for extended periods of time
