Program Technician or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

The Program Tech coordinates the virtual care of patient inmates in the correctional facilities to support a new virtual physical therapy program.

Core Job Role Responsibilities

The Program Tech will actively participate in the following activities:

1 - Coordinate telehealth patient consultations between CareSpace admin, Physical Therapists and Correctional Leadership.

3 - Meet regularly with leadership to review the status of patients' telehealth and virtual rehab sessions and provide a status.

4 - Communicate between CareSpace and Client when patients are not able to be seen.

5 - Work max of 40 hrs / week unless given permission.

6 - Support all telehealth consults by logging into CareSpace and administering the CareSpace virtual sessions.

7 - Actively communicate between CareSpace and Client regarding any technical or logistical issues, etc.

Required Skills / Experience:

1 - Tech proficient, PTA desired but not required

2 - Excellent communication skills

3 - (Preferred, but not required) A background in correctional facilities and more importantly correctional healthcare delivery services.

4 - Must pass a criminal background check and drug test.

Payment will be based on skills and experience and an independent contractor with the future opportunity turning into a full time position.
