Dental Assistant

We are seeking a full time dental assistant for our incredible, privately owned dental practice, Mountainside Dental Care.

The best candidate for this position will be skilled at prioritizing their duties, maintaining a steady flow throughout the office, taking direction, and clearly communicating with patients and staff. Must be able to work well, positively and proactively within a team and have superior customer service skills. Must be a self-starter, have high integrity and high attention to detail at all times.

Responsibilities:

-Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures

-Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment

-Make temps and pack cord

-Take dental radiographs (x-rays)

-Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment

-Provide patients with instructions for oral care following all dental treatment procedures

-Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health

-Perform other various office tasks as necessary

Minimum Education, Requirements and Experience:

x-ray certified

Positive attitude and ability to work with others.
