Position is full time.
Availability: Monday through Thursday, 8:30am to 5:30pm. Friday or Saturday hours.
Pay Scale: $20 to $25 per hour to start. Possibility of pay increase at 90-day review.

Manages and oversees all the bookkeeping staff. Responsible for the practices and procedures to ensure timely and accurate records and reports. Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met. Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversees Bookkeeping department
Will be assigned more complex clients as appropriate
Assign tasks and new client books to bookkeepers based on workload
Responsible for maintaining books and client relations with clients they are assigned
Prepare financial statements and reports, including the profit and loss statement and balance sheet
Keep track of client assets.
Generate 1099's and W-2's.
Prepare monthly TPTs for clients.
Oversees PIPER books –
Maintains Accounts Receivables including collections of past due invoices
Coordinates with front office to manage client payments & invoices
Assist with budget preparations
Coordinates with vendors, service providers, and landlord, ensuring that all items are invoiced and paid on time
Reconcile bank account
Manage contract and price negotiations with office vendors, service providers and office lease
Provide general support to clients & backup to front office
Receive, approve, and/or decline client invoices
Performs book audits as needed/requested
Prepare appropriate schedules and reports as requested by clients and partners.
Performs other duties as assigned from time to time by office manager or company owner.
Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
Minimum of 3-5 years bookkeeping experience including account reconciliation, chart of accounts knowledge, general journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger and financial reports is required.
Proficiency in QuickBooks is required.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements of processing payroll accounting transactions and payroll returns.
Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism.
MUST be organized!
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing, in English.
Must be able to keep client matters strictly confidential.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills.
Multiple year Supervisory experience is a plus.
