Estimate Approver - Fleet Maintenance

Job DescriptionAn employer in Tempe, AZ is looking for Estimate Approvers to assist their fleet maintenance department in a pilot program with cost-saving initiatives. These candidates will be responsible for the daily review of estimates that come from outside maintenance vendors. You will be approving or denying these quotes in a queue. You will use your background in hands-on repair and maintenance of Class 8 vehicles to validate that these quotes meet the client's wear and tear guidelines, and that the price is reasonable for the specified repairs. If you identify any repairs or charges that are not reasonable you will request explanation from the vendor and flag for further review before moving to the next estimate. This is a position for someone that is looking to leave the shop environment and get into an office position. You will be reviewing estimates and pictures received from vendors on high dollar repairs that are necessary due to either wear and tear or damage.
