Heavy Diesel Mechanic with PTO + Health/Dental/Vision Insurance

Waste Disposal is pleased to announce a job opening for a Heavy Diesel Mechanic at our Whetstone (Huachuca City), AZ yard. We are seeking an applicant must have 2+ years of experience with heavy diesel maintenance and repair. Automotive electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems experience is a huge plus! Experience with Front Load, Automated Side Load, and Roll Off Trucks is also a huge plus! Applicant must also be a self starter, pass a drug test and have and maintain a clean motor vehicle record.

Requirements:

21 or older

Drug Free (random screenings)

Clean Driving Record

Positive Attitude

Work day starts at 5AM and is usually finished by 3PM

Steel toe boots are required

Responsibilities:

Annual Inspections

Preventative Maintenance

Tire and brake replacement and repair

Hydraulic hose replacement and repair

Daily truck safety inspections

Repair logging and documentation

Basic welding and fabrication

DOT compliance
